In fact, one of the first advantages that make our fabric unique is its ultra-fast drying capacity: after a very short time, your Bikini or Burkini will be dry, so you won't have to give up that famous last swim.
A fabric that doesn't soak through and doesn't weigh you down
You know that uncomfortable feeling when the costume gets soaked and makes you feel weighed down? This unpleasant feeling is even more amplified when we talk about one-piece swimming costumes and the Burkini. During my travels in Morocco, I realised how a wrong fabric was not only an annoying obstacle, but also a deterrent in experiencing the sea to the fullest for all those women who, in accordance with their religion, want to protect their bodies in an integral way. This fabric was specially researched for the needs of Muslim women.
Tanned or Protected? No need to choose!
The special fabric from which our costumes are made is in fact composed of a Smart Fibre an 'intelligent fibre' with great technical properties. Thanks to its special structure, the fabric not only does not retain water and dries 3 times faster than normal swimwear fabrics, but also enables tanning safely! Once adhered to the body, the fabric will become like a second skin thanks to its texture and structure, filtering out harmful rays and allowing the skin to tan naturally in a gradual manner, reducing tan lines!
How does tanning technology work?
Our fabric allows selectively filter ultraviolet light to ensure a safer tan comparable to sunscreen. All this without the use of any chemical additives! (protection for delicate and sensitive skin is always recommended)
How does it work? By using a special polyester/polyamide yarn from which the fabric is constructed, UV wavelengths are specifically filtered out. Ultra Violet-B rays (UV-B = dangerous burning rays) are almost totally absorbed by the special polyester/polyamide yarn used.
Ultra Violet-A rays (UV-A = the less harmful tanning rays) are selectively transmitted through the yarn to the skin to provide that safer tan that reduces tan lines.
